Apeejay Institute of Design - [AID]

With thoughtfully planned infrastructure and quality facilities, the institution provides a conducive learning ecosystem. Modern academic blocks, research labs, libraries, and support services enable academic excellence, practical learning, and a balanced campus life.

There are 31 fully equipped Design Studios for all specializations: Interiors, Graphics, Fashion and Animation & Multimedia with ample working space for constructive student teacher interaction. The studios also have display areas which are utilized for displaying student’s drawings, sketches, plans etc., for constructive discussion and critical feedback from faculty and peers.

AID also has an Audio-Visual Room with a Slide projector, Overhead projector, Interactive board with a seating capacity of 100 students. The A. V. Room is utilized for holding Guest Lectures, Presentations and Seminars which students from all specializations attend from time to time.

The Institute library besides having books & journals related to the Design field, also is resource centre comprising of raw material samples/projects original research documents.

Library has the facilities of using it for reference, consultation, preparing notes and reading but.

Since the computers are an integral part of Design Education, the Institute offers a well structured design oriented course in computers, in all the specializations and in the foundation course also. The lab has on array of Softwares such as MS-Office, Adobe Creative Suit, Corel Graphic Suit, Adobe Page Maker, Autocad, 3D Max, Maya and so on.

The Institute is proud of the facilities it offers in its workshops where students can work on mechanical and electrical machines, and hand operated looms. The Institute has the facilities of:
