Army Institute of Law Mohali Popularly known as AIL Mohali established in 1999 by Indian Army under the Army Welfare Education Society, is affiliated to the Punjabi University, Patiala and approved by the Bar Council of India. In 2024, NIRF ranked 30 in the Law category while in 2025, IndiaToday ranked 15 in the same category.

Army Institute of Law Mohali offers two law courses, a five year BALLB at the undergraduate level and a one year LLM at the postgraduate level. Admission to these courses are done based on the valid score in AIL LET (Law entrance test) conducted by the institute itself. The first year fee for BALLB course is INR 1.93 Lakhs and for LLM total fees is INR 2.09 Lakhs.

Army Institute of Law placement reports for 2025 have not been released yet. However, according to the 2024 reports, the median salary offered for UG program was INR 6.3 LPA. More than 100 companies took part in the placement drive.
