BijuPatnaik Institute of Information Technology and Management Studies, BIITM has a long history of academic excellence, imparting industry focused management education since 1999. The BIITM Library with its rich collections of information resources and innovative information services plays a vital role in the intellectual pursuits of BIITM academic community. The Library has been automated using KOHA Integrated Library Management Systems. Library is well equipped with text books, reference books, E-resources and print resources.

BIITM Library promises to facilitate convenient and user friendly access to current and relevant information in various formats ( Print and non-print) to serve the information needs of the academic fraternity of BIITM to meet their teaching, research, training and learning requirements.

BIITM library provides its membership by default to the students, faculties, staffs and research scholars of BIITM. The membership is valid as long as the user becomes the member of the institute. The library membership will be suspended or terminated and disciplinary action will be taken, if the member has done any of the followings:

Only registered member can borrow books form library on production of their library card or membership ID issued by the library at the circulation desk. The entitlement of number of books on loan and loan period with overdue fine for different categories as follows:

If a loan book is not a demand, then the user concerned is allowed for renewal a maximum of two consecutive times. The renewal of books can be done with the help of library staff at the circulation counter. The users maybe recallby library staffs at any point in times if, need arises.
