About the Institution
CEPT University Ahmedabad was established in 1962 by the Ahmedabad Education Society (AES) with support from the Government of Gujarat and the Government of India. First, the Vacancy Shift Rule states that if seats under the Gujarat State Quota (ACPC) remain vacant after the final rounds of counselling, they are transferred back to CEPT University. These seats are then filled through the All India merit waiting list. Second, the Dual Application Advantage allows students from Gujarat to apply under both CEPT (All India) and ACPC categories.
Applying through both routes provides two opportunities to secure admission within the overall seat pool.
