Scholarships based on CUCET marks

Your scholarship percentage depends on the marks you score in CUCET. The higher your marks, the higher the scholarship.

  • 90.01 - 100 marks: 100% scholarship
  • 80 - 90 marks: 50% scholarship
  • 70 - 79.99 marks: 40% scholarship
  • 60 - 69.99 marks: 30% scholarship
  • 50 - 59.99 marks: 25% scholarship
  • 40 - 49.99 marks: 15% scholarship
  • 30 - 39.99 marks: Eligible for entrance-based merit scholarships

Scholarships for B.Tech students based on JEE Main rank

B.Tech students can get a scholarship based on their JEE Main All India Rank.

  • Rank up to 25,000: 100% of semester fee
  • Rank 25,001 - 50,000: 75% of semester fee
  • Rank 50,001 - 75,000: 50% of semester fee
  • Rank 75,001 - 1,00,000: 20% of semester fee
  • Rank 1,00,001 - 1,25,000: 10% of semester fee

Scholarships for MBA students based on national exams

MBA students can get scholarships based on their scores in CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, or XAT.

  • CAT score 80% or above: 50% of semester fee
  • CAT score 75 - 79.99%: 25% of semester fee
  • CAT score 70 - 74.99%: 10% of semester fee
  • MAT / CMAT / ATMA / XAT score 90% or above: 25% of semester fee
  • MAT / CMAT / ATMA / XAT score 85 - 89.99%: 20% of semester fee

Note: This scholarship does not apply to industry collaborative programs.

Early Bird Scholarship for ME candidates

ME candidates can get an Early Bird Scholarship based on their previous degree.

  • 10% scholarship for students who completed their B.E. or B.Tech from another university.
  • 15% scholarship for students who completed their B.E. from Chandigarh University, provided they pay the full semester fee at the time of admission.

How to apply

CUCET is mandatory for scholarships, even if you take admission through other exams. You must register for CUCET to be considered for a scholarship.

Scholarship renewal rules

To keep your scholarship, you must meet these conditions every year:

  • Maintain a CGPA of around 7.5 or above.
  • Have no disciplinary issues.
  • Have no backlogs (E/F/I grades are not allowed).
  • Renew your scholarship every academic year.
