National students are given admission based on their marks in the JEE exam. International students are given admission based on their performance in the 12th standard.

For National Students, shortlisted candidates are called for an interview and a written test. After these two stages, students go through counselling where all required documents and scores are checked. Selected candidates are asked to submit documents and tuition fees at the time of admission.

The written test of CSH may consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs), fill in the blank or objective type questions, numeric questions, picture-based questions, and multiple answer questions where more than one answer can be selected. For international students, admissions are based on their performance in the 12th standard or equivalent course.
