Coastal Institute of Technology and Management (CITM), Vizianagaram was established in 2008. The Institute is AICTE approved and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Andhra Pradesh. The courses offered by Coastal Institute of Technology and Management include B.Tech. Degree course in Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Diploma in Polytechnic courses namely Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical.

• Minimum eligibility to apply for B.Tech. Degree course is 10+2 examination or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.
• Minimum percentage required to apply for B.Tech. is 50% for General Category and 45% for OBC/SC/ST candidates.
• AICTE approved or equivalent diploma or B.Sc. degree holders in the field of Engineering and Technology affiliated to Andhra Pradesh State Board are eligible to apply for B.Tech lateral admission.
• Admission to B.Tech. is based on AP EAMCET or AP ECET followed by state level counselling.
• To be eligible for Diploma programs, candidates must have passed class 10th with Science and Mathematics and 50% marks.
• Diploma admission will be through DTE (Department of Technical Education), AP counselling on the basis of AP POLYCET.
