At the School of Management Studies, we aim at building skills with practical exposure through available alternatives. We have collaborated with the "Cesim"- A Finland Business Simulation Enterprise that offers Business Simulations to the leading IIMs. Cesim uses the latest technology to help substantially improve knowledge retention, business decision-making, and teamwork skills of participants. We have now acquired 150 licenses to carry out four different business simulations, including four different comprehensive business problems. The simulations are incorporated to make students ready for a dynamically driven industry.
Students are encouraged to take up Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) which will be added as credits to their academic credentials. These courses are free and are flexible to learn new skills to fast track career advancement. Students are required to take one online course (MOOC) for a minimum period of eight weeks as a two credit course in the pre-final semester and should complete certification before the end of the final semester. Students can select online course from Swayam, NTPEL, MOOC courses (recognized by UGC), or CUSAT MOOC portal relevant to the MBA programme.
In keeping with the tough demands of the business world, the School provides Value added programmes in various sought-after domains like Spreadsheet modeling, financial derivatives, and the like from time to time.
