Is 20,000 rank in JEE Main enough to get me a seat in DTU?

I am a second year B.Tech IT student at DTU. 20,000 is a pretty good rank and it will open ample branch options for you, even more if you are a Delhi Candidate. However, you will surely get admission to a lower B.Tech branch like Chemical, Industrial & Production, Civil, Biotech, or Environmental Engineering. (For the Delhi Quota, the candidate must have completed their class 11th and 12th from Delhi). DTU conducts engineering admissions through JAC Delhi Counselling. The choice is ultimately yours to make. But if you are keen to get admission into DTU, you can surely opt for one of these branches.

Can I get into DTU with 90 Percentile?

As per the previous year data, if a candidate scores the 90 percentile in the General Category for the Home and Other state candidates, the Predicted rank ranges between 108240 and 123890 rank. One can get admission into Delhi Technological University but in their preferred branches, with 90 percentile marks. If you are focusing on top branches like CSE, IT, Mechanical then you have to secure at least 99-98 percentile. For other branches like chemical, civi or biotechnology you have pretty good chances. How is the BBA course in DTU?

DTU is a well-reputed college. It is known for its engineering courses. People assume that it is as good for BBA as engineering. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The office staff at the East Delhi campus could be more supportive. They do not answer student queries, and keep on delaying responses to a later date. In the end, they put all the blame on students. Eventually, one is left with the only option of visiting the main campus for query resolution. But the main campus staff responds that the entire work related to BBA/MBA is done on the East campus itself. As for BBA placements, they are below average at present. The packages are very low, and the placement percentage is nowhere near the promised 100%. I recommend you look for other options for a BBA instead of DTU.

Among NIT Delhi, DTU, and NSUT, which one is better in terms of placement?

NIT Delhi is very young, and it can not be compared to NSUT and DTU. Now the better option among these two depends on your branch choice. If you want to opt for CoE/IT/ECE, NSUT has slightly better placements in these branches. But in core branches (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Poly), DTU has a really good placement record. Moreover, DTU has a great campus life.

How are the placements at DTU?

Students who have completed there 4 sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 2month summer internship and students who have completed there 6th sem are eligible to sit in campus placements to secure 6 month internship along with ppo or fulltime or direct fulltime opportunities. Around 70-80% students gets placed in tech branches and around 50-70% gets placed in core branches. My plan after degree are to join a fulltime offer.

How is the faculty at DTU?

Dtu has a large and diverse faculty bodyspread across its engineering, Science, Management, design, and humanities department. each department typically includes Professors, Associate professor, Assistant professor and sometimes visting faculty

How is the campus life at DTU?

campus life of Delhi Technological Univers Is vibrant with active clubs, Fest, and diverse peers. Infrastructure is spaciousness with good labs, library, hostel, and sports complexes, and opem green spaces.

How are the hostels at DTU?

We have three girls hostels and all the btech students are allotted in VLB hostel which is Fully aur conditioned and have 3 sharing in one room the room is spacious we get one bed almirah and table chair the bathrooms are common but are ussually clean and water cooler facilities, 24/7 wifi and geezers in winter . The canteen and vending machine inside the campus.
