The World University of Design offers courses at the UG, PG, and PhD levels. Among B.Des is its flagship course. Admissions are based on marks obtained in the relevant entrance examination.

At the UG level, students have passed Class 12th from a recognised board with 50% marks. For B.Arch students, it is expected that they will appear in either the NATA or JEE Paper 2. For other UG programs, applicants must take the WUD Aptitude Test, which includes the DAT, AAT, or GAT. If students have appeared for NID, NIFT, UCEED, or CEED, then students may be offered direct admission. For PG courses, Selection is based on WUDAT or CEED, NID, NIFT, SAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, personal interview, or portfolio presentation. At the time of admission, a one-time non-refundable fee of INR 2,000 is charged for application processing, and INR 20,000 as a registration fee. Additionally, a one-time refundable security deposit of INR 10,000 is also applicable.
