Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur, was established in the year 1989 and is affiliated with the D.Y. Patil Education Society (Deemed University), Kolhapur and accredited by the National Medical Commission, NMC. It is one of the oldest and largest medical colleges in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. This College has been awarded an ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and approved and accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the National Medical Commission (NMC), which regulates medical education in India.
