Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC), established in 1987, is a public college situated in Netaji Nagar, New Delhi and is affiliated with Delhi University. It is recognized by UGC and accredited by NAAC with a grade ‘B+’. It is ranked 23rd in Commerce (out of 321 colleges) and 27th in Arts (out of 259 colleges).

DCAC was ranked in the 30th position among all the colleges in India in the NIRF 2025 ranking. It was also included in the 2024 Rankings published by India Today- 35th in Arts and 35th in Commerce, and in the 2024 Survey published by Outlook, DCAC was ranked 23rd in the Arts category. DCAC offers a range of UG programs in various disciplines such as Arts and Commerce.

Among these, the BA (Hons.) in Journalism is a popular course. The 1st-year fees for the BA (Hons.) in Journalism are INR 10,905. Admissions are based on the eligibility that the candidate must have qualified for 10+2, and admission is granted based on the marks obtained in the CUET examination.

DCAC helps students obtain scholarships, both from government and non-government sources. The scholarship provided by the private trust named Shree Maheshwari Foundation helps to support meritorious and deserving students to pursue their education financially. DCAC placement 2025 reports have not been released yet.

<p>DCAC is located on a 5-acre urban campus in Netaji Nagar, Delhi. The campus includes modern classrooms, a computer and media laboratory, a well-equipped library, and sports facilities such as basketball, volleyball, and football courts. Wi-Fi, an auditorium, and student activity centres like NCC and NSS are also available.</p>
<p>The college has four computer labs fitted with servers, printers, desktops, laptops, LCD projectors, and scanners. These labs are linked by a Local Area Network (LAN) and have Wi-Fi connectivity. Students and faculty receive individual login IDs, and a full-time system administrator ensures smooth running. Labs are available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on all working days. There is also a UGC Resource Centre with 10 computers and a printer-cum-scanner for faculty use.</p>
<p>The library holds more than 62,000 books in fields such as Commerce, Computer Science, English, and Political Science. It subscribes to 23 magazines and 13 newspapers. The library is fully computerised on KOHA software and is RFID-based. It has individual reading rooms for students and faculty, an e-library room for digital resources, and a Digital Repository for research work. Services for visually impaired students include Braille books and assistive computer programs.</p>
<p>Sports facilities include a large sports ground with a synthetic basketball court, a volleyball court, table tennis facilities, and a cricket pitch. Qualified coaches support these facilities. The college participates in inter-college competitions and organises sports events annually.</p>
<p>Medical facilities include an on-campus medical room with professional paramedics. The college conducts regular medical checkups and blood donation camps to spread health awareness.</p>
<p>The campus has Wi-Fi connectivity, CCTV monitoring, and a technical support system administrator. The college is well connected by transport networks, making it easily accessible from different parts of the city. It is close to major residential societies and business enterprises.
