Overview
The exam body has declared the FTII JET 2024 result on it official website. Candidates can now check their qualifying status at – applyadmission.net/JET23-24. The FTII JET exam 2024 was conducted on April 6 and 7, 2024 in offline mode. Candidates qualifying for the written test will be called for an interview/audition round and orientation. The exam was held across the country with 26 exam centers for the students and offer admissions to courses offered by Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and SRFTI.
- While the official schedule hasn't been announced yet, FTII JET counselling is expected to begin around July 2024.
- Following the release of the FTII JET 2024 final results, shortlisted candidates will be invited for counselling through the Joint Seat Allocation (JSA) system in July.
- This process will allow you to indicate your preferences for programs at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, and the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata.
- The FTII JET exam consists of two papers- Paper I and Paper II. Paper II will be evaluated for only those candidates who will qualify for the FTII JET Paper I.

FTII Entrance Exam 2024 Result
FTII JET 2024 Exam Results are available now. Following is the procedure to check it-

- Choose your course for which you gave the exam.
- Your results will appear in front of you in a PDF format.
- Download and save your scorecard for future reference.

FTII Entrance Exam 2024 Merit List
Based on the performance of written and oral examination, a final merit list is prepared by the Institute for the selection of candidates.
Result-1 is prepared on the basis of written examination and auditions which carry a weightage of 50%.
Result 2- is followed by after it and is done on the basis of Orientation and Interview.
Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of 1st and 2nd result lists each carrying 50% weigtage in subject to qualifying on medical test.
FTII Entrance Exam 2024 Counselling
After the results are announced, candidates must reach the allotted venue on the given time for counselling and further admission process.
The Counselling process will be held by in January 2024 (tentatively) and consists of 2 rounds of personal interview and orientation. The process is further followed by a Medical test of candidate which leads to final selection.
FTII Entrance Exam 2024 Eligibility
AGE LIMIT- Candidate must be above 21 years of age. There is no upper limit specified by the Institute for candidates.
RESIDENTIAL CRITERIA/NATIONALITY- There are no nationality or residential criteria specified by the Institute. Candidate can belong to any nationality or can be a resident of any area.

FTII Entrance Exam Pattern
FTII gives a brief about the entrance exam for admissions only. Here is the exam pattern for FTII Entrance Exam 2021:
- Question paper comprises 100 objective type questions in total.
- Paper is qualifying in nature and each right answer is awarded 1 mark.
- 3 hours are given to a candidate for completing the paper.

FTII Entrance Exam 2024 has no such specific syllabus for the courses and examination with regard to film and television. Since majority of the courses offered by FTII are skilled based or performing art subjects there is no bound syllabus for the exam

Application Process
FTII JET Application process includes a registration process, filling details in the application form, uploading of images, and payment of the application fee. - Application form of FTII 2024 will not be submitted without the application fee payment. General category candidates and OBC-NCL have to pay INR 2000/- (for one Course) as an application fee. How to Fill FTII 2024 Application Form
FTII 2024 Application Form is available online. Interested candidates can fill the application form online. FTII 2024 Results – (Out)
- The result contain scores secured by candidates in the examination.

FTII 2024 Merit List
Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune will conduct the examination, assess the answer sheets and conduct the orientation and admissions. FTII will release three or more merit lists depending on the number of candidates and availability of the seats.
- FTII 2024 Merit list will be released as per the courses.
- Merit list will be sectioned into categories such as General, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class.
- FTII Merit list will also include Waiting list sectioned in categories.

FTII 2024 Cut Off

FTII 2024 Orientation
FTII 2024 Orientation will be conducted with an Interview in the span of four to five days. Here is the schedule of the days:

Once the interviews are finalized, the selected candidates will be notified to pay the fees and confirm their seat for the applied course. Candidates should note that a time span will be allotted for payment of fees. In case, any candidate fails to process the fee and take admission; his or her candidature will be rejected and will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.
