Electronic Common Hospitality Aptitude Test Syllabus 2026

The IIHM eCHAT 2024 syllabus is divided into four main sections. The total exam has 50 questions to be attempted in 60 minutes.

• English Language: Topics include idioms and phrases, rules of conjunctions, synonyms and antonyms, prepositions, sequence of words, rules of correct usage, and sentence completion.
• Mathematics: Topics include numerical ability, percentage, number system, profit and loss, HCF and LCM, simple interest and compound interest, ratio and proportion, and mixture and allegations.
• Logical Reasoning: Topics include alphabets test, mathematical operations and reasoning, statement and product test, classification test, Venn diagram test, decision-making test, and series test.
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs: Topics include current affairs, history, Indian economy, geography, Indian politics, general science, and scientific aptitude. It also covers physics, chemistry, biology, and service aptitude questions.
