Students who missed the Phase 1 window can still register under the extended deadline of July 28, 2026 and follow the same five steps for Phase 2 allotment.

Step 1: Register on the Official Portal

Visit lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in and click on the TS LAWCET 2026 Counselling Registration link. Enter your Hall Ticket Number, date of birth, and qualifying-exam details. Step 4: Seat Allotment

Step 5: Reporting to the Allotted College

Web options are the ranked preference list of colleges and programmes you submit online. The allotment system allocates the best available seat that matches your rank and category from your list — so the order in which you enter colleges matters greatly. Follow these steps carefully to build and lock a strong web-options list.

Step 1: Log In to the Counselling Portal

• Go to lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in.
• Enter your TS LAWCET 2026 Hall Ticket Number and date of birth.
• Click Login to reach your counselling dashboard.

Step 2: Access the Web Options Section

• Click on the "Web Options / Choice Filling" link on your dashboard.

Step 4: Lock Your Web Options

• Once your list is final, click "Lock Options."
• A confirmation prompt appears — review your list one final time before confirming.
• Click Confirm to lock. Locked options cannot be changed within the same phase.
• Download and print the acknowledgement receipt showing your locked preference list.

Step 5: Use the Edit Window If Available

• For the extended / Phase 2 batch, a brief edit window is available on August 1, 2026 — use it to correct any errors in your locked list.

Non-Refundable Processing Fee

Telangana state offers fee reimbursement schemes for eligible SC, ST, and BC students admitted to government and aided law colleges. If you withdraw after accepting a seat and paying tuition, the fee refund amount depends on the college’s refund policy and the date of your withdrawal — the processing fee paid at online registration is never refunded in any scenario.

Reporting to College After TS LAWCET 2026 Allotment

Phase 1 allottees must report to their college between July 25 and July 28, 2026. Phase 2 allottees must report between August 6 and August 10, 2026. Failing to report within the stipulated window results in automatic cancellation of your allotted seat — it is then reallocated to the next eligible student.

Step 1: Download Your Allotment Order

• This document is mandatory at the college as proof of allotment; the college will not process your admission without it.

Step 2: Carry All Required Documents

Step 3: Original Certificate Verification at College

• Submit your documents to the college admissions counter.
• A college official verifies your originals against the allotment details; originals are returned to you after inspection.
• One set of attested photocopies is retained permanently by the college.

Step 4: Pay the Tuition Fee

• Pay the first-year tuition fee as specified by the allotted college.
• Confirm the accepted payment modes (demand draft, online transfer, or cash at cashier) with the college before your reporting date — modes vary by institution.
• Collect the fee payment receipt; it is required for the fee reimbursement application under Telangana state schemes.

Step 5: Collect Your Admission Confirmation Receipt

• After fee payment and document verification, the college issues an Admission Confirmation Receipt.
• The college simultaneously updates your admission status on the TGCHE portal.
• Keep the receipt safely — it is your proof of confirmed admission for TS LAWCET 2026.

Freeze, Float, or Withdraw — What Should You Do?

Once you receive your Phase 1 allotment, you choose one of three options. The choice you make directly affects both your seat security and your eligibility for Phase 2 upgrades. Evaluate each option against your rank, the college allotted, and how satisfied you are with it before deciding.

If you withdraw after accepting a seat and paying tuition at college, the fee refund amount depends on the college’s refund policy and the date of withdrawal — the online processing fee (₹800 / ₹500) paid at TGCHE registration is never refunded. Students who neither report to college nor formally withdraw by July 28, 2026 are treated as having forfeited their Phase 1 seat; they may register again under the extended window (if still open) to participate in Phase 2 as fresh registrants.
