GIM Goa offers PGDM, PGDM HCM, PGDM BDA, and IDA (International Double Degree in Analytics). The Evaluation process takes place in February and the final admission results are released in March. The new academic session begins in June.

The exams accepted are CAT or XAT followed by shortlisting and interviews. For PGDM BDA and IDA, the GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) is also considered.

GIM Goa Important Admission Dates 2026

GIM Goa PGDM Admission 2026

GIM offers 2-year full-time PGDM courses. GIM also offers PGDM in Health Care Management (HCM), Big Data Analytics (BDA), and Banking Insurance and Financial Services (BIFS). The total fees for the programs are INR 21.7 lakhs.

Student Intake for PGDM Courses:

GIM Goa PGDM Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category) or equivalent recognized by AICTE or Students in their Final Year of Graduation.

GIM Goa PGDM Selection Criteria: Candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT or XAT or GMAT scores. Shortlisted candidates are called for the Final Selection Process, which includes Academic Scores, Personal Interview, Work Experience and Profile Assessment.

Candidates pursuing PGDM in Big Data Analytics (BDA) are required to take an Online Aptitude Test called GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT).

GIM Goa Achiever’s Round

PGDM program & PGDM in Big Data Analytics (BDA) program accepts Achievers Round. Achievers Round is a profile-based shortlisting of Candidates for Scholarships. Scholarships are based on their achievements in various fields such as Academics, Sports, co-curricular activities, profile, experience, etc.

GIM Goa Admission 2026

Goa Institute of Management's admissions are based on exams like CAT, XAT, and GMAT, followed by an interview. The admission process has been explained below:

1. Candidates need to apply online by completing the application form.
2. The candidates will be selected based on their CAT/XAT/GMAT scores. Academic toppers from a selected set of institutes will be invited directly for the Achiever’s round interview without considering the test scores.
3. The selected candidates will be called for an interview.
4. Merit list will be released.

GIM Goa IDA Admission 2026

GIM Goa offers the IDA (International Double Degree in Analytics) program, which includes PGDM BDA and a Master’s in Business Analytics. The total course fee is INR 25.4 lakhs. The total seat intake is 30.

GIM Goa IDA Eligibility

• To be eligible for GIM Goa IDA Admission, candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in Graduation. Candidates who will complete all requirements for the degree by June 2026 may also apply.
• CAT 2025, XAT 2026 & GMAT taken between January 1, 2024, and January 15, 2026, will be accepted.
• The candidate must appear for at least one of the following English Proficiency Exams. with scores to be submitted by 31st January 2026, and must attain the scores mentioned:
  • TOEFL iBT - Minimum score: 100
  • IELTS - Minimum score: 7.0
  • Cambridge English Proficiency exam (CPE) - Minimum grade: C
  • Cambridge English Advanced exam (CAE) - Minimum grade: B

GIM Goa IDA Selection Criteria

The students at GIM Goa will be selected on:

2. GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT)- to be held on 1st February 2026
3. Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo an online Written Aptitude Test (WAT).

GIM Goa FPM Admission 2026

GIM offers a 4-year residential FPM program. The FPM program is equivalent to PhD course level. The seat intake for the course is 20. The students in the FPM program will get INR 62,000 per month for the entire duration of the program.

Candidates must have a Master's degree with 60% marks.

• Application fees for the FPM Program is INR 1500 + GST (18%)

Ques. What is the GAAT accepted for PGDM BDA and IDA courses?

Ans.GAAT stands for GIM Analytics Aptitude Test. This test, conducted by GIM, is intended to assess a student's aptitude in the areas of Linear equations, Calculus, Matrices, Progressions, and Abstract Reasoning. The test is for a duration of 55 minutes with MCQs. The test does not have any strict sections based on the topics stated above. This aptitude test will be administered online. Every wrong answer will carry a negative mark. GAAT will be conducted on 1st February 2026.
