Government College of Education

Government College of Education is the Premier Secondary Teachers Training Institute that has successfully completed sixty years of its existence. The college library was rated as the best among the Colleges of Education in the country. They also recommended that the College be given status of an autonomous College.

The College has the distinction of setting up Women's Studies Centre funded by UGC. The college has well organized publication wing that has over the years improved upon the publications qualitatively and quantitatively. The college library has a rich collection of about 33000 titles, besides back files of a good no. of journals and magazines.
