The college has an athletic society. One senior faculty remains as the vice-president of the society with nominated student body. The society conducts all types of sports activities. The college is hosting annually one tournament “Engineering Cup” in cricket where many engineering colleges participate. We have field for Badminton, basket ball, etc.

The computer center houses 85 core 2 duo plus I3 processor (DELL make) with High speed IBM server. All are connected by high speed broadband (@ 20 MBPS), Aircel@ 5 Mbps and RailTel @ 100 MBPS facility through optical fiber.

The Government College Engineering is of having well furnished ATM of Central Bank of India running from last few years, to smooth conduct of Transactions.

Government College of Engineering, Keonjhar has an exceptionally huge campus, stretching across an area of more than 40 acres. But it is GCE canteen that is considered the favorite hangout zone by students having more than 400 capacity at a time. The spacious canteen is seen as the hub of all activities with students who get to break free from routine life to have a quick bite of food.

Compared to the number of students and branches we have an adequate collection of books and study materials in the central Library. The library’s total requisition of books is over 20,000. Total no. of Book title and Book volume are 720 & 22,817 respectively. The library timing’s are from 7 A. M. to 2P. M. on all working days except holidays and Sundays.

Four number of 55 seater buses are running at specified time schedules for the transporting students and staff from the town/hostels to the institution campus and back. Students can avail this facility by paying a sum of rupees 7,500/- (seven thousand) per year at the time of registration. A special bus identity card is issued to the students who pay the requisite fee for transportation.

The entire College campus including Hostel Blocks and library is fully Wi-Fi (with 20Mbps, 100Mbps & 5 mbps connectivity) promoting anywhere everywhere learning. Computers are inter-connected which brings the network to every desk, with a second layer of Wireless Networking enabling connections anywhere. Over 100 computers on-campus are connected to the internet through 10 mbps, 100Mbps and 5Mbps connections with the network of over high end servers that power the on-campus networks.

GCE has also built a well equipped open health club and open air gymnasium within the campus (for Students), to keep both body and mind fit to undertake the challenge of life. Also the organization made all provision for its students through sports, fitness, recreation, gym and health club, yoga etc....
