GMCH Chandigarh, also known as Government Medical College & Hospital Chandigarh, was established in 1991. It is affiliated with Panjab University and is approved by national regulatory bodies like the National Medical Commission and the Indian Nursing Council. GMCH Chandigarh is situated in Sector 32 on a 32-acre urban campus and ranked 34 among medical colleges in the NIRF 2025 rankings.

GMCH Chandigarh offers flagship programmes, such as MBBS, which includes 150 seats for students and admissions are done through the NEET UG Entrance exam.
