GMCH Chandigarh offers undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes in medical and health sciences. The flagship course is the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), which has 150 seats. Other UG courses include B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), B.Sc Radiotherapy, B.Sc Optometry, BDS, and BHMS. PG courses include MD, MS, DM, and M.Ch programmes across various specialisations.
The average fee for the MBBS programme is INR 25,000 per year. B.Sc programmes cost around INR 9,783 per year. The first-year fee for BHMS is INR 1,33,750, and for BDS it is INR 1,66,905. For PG courses, the first-year fee for MD and MS is INR 35,000 each, and for DM it is INR 32,307.

For B.Sc courses, BHMS, and BDS, the eligibility is 10+2 in the same subjects with an aggregate of 45% marks. For MD and MS, you need an MBBS degree from a recognised university. For DM, you need an MD or MS degree in a relevant specialisation.
The college also provides placement facilities, especially for PG students in MD, MS, or M.Sc programmes. Various UG courses, such as MBBS and B.Sc, include a compulsory internship of 6 months or a year.
