Hemwati Nandan Baguguna Government College for Post Graduation Courses was established in 1988 in the tribal region of Udham Singh Nagar (Khatima) of Uttaranchal. Since the Institute is located on the national highway connecting Barielly and Pithoragarh, it attracts many students from the tribal community along side the border area. It not only welcomes students from the local vicinity but those from Nepal as well.

It provides the students with various under graduate and post graduate courses in the disciplines of science and humanities.
