The aim of MBA programme is to enable a graduate student to become a practitioner during the course itself. While preparing a student for management career the emphasis is on self learning. We encourage the analytical and inquisitive minds to consolidate their varied skills, creativity, innovativeness and thus seek knowledge to be able to make mature judgements.

The curriculum of programmes has been designed with the objective of developing technical, human analytical and conceptual skills among the students. The knowledge of different functional areas of management is further enriched by offering specializations in various fields which students may adopt.

The course-curriculum focuses on infusing problem-solving abilities among the students. It enables them to aptly scan the opportunities and challenges emerging in the business environment. Seminars, workshops, conferences are organized to expose students to the developments in the macro environment. All through the course an inter-disciplinary exposure of the participants to various behavioral sciences is encouraged.

The institute registers students (MBA) for doctoral degree in the Management Studies. The candidates who have qualified UGC-JRF may get registered for Ph.D programme in management studies, if other wise eligible. The candiates who have qualified UGC-NET are required to quality the Entrnace Test (Subject to avalibity of Seats) conduted by the Himachal Pradesh University time to time.
