<p>Admission to the MBA program at IIM Mumbai is based on the CAT exam, followed by a Personal Interview. The minimum CAT percentile required for shortlisting for the Personal Interview is 85 percentile overall for the General category.</p>

<p>For CAT 2024, the sectional and overall cutoff percentiles for shortlisting for the Personal Interview were:</p>

<li><strong>NC-OBC:</strong> VARC ≥70, DI &amp; LR ≥65, QA ≥65, Overall ≥75</li>
<li><strong>EWS:</strong> VARC ≥70, DI &amp; LR ≥65, QA ≥65, Overall ≥75</li>
<li><strong>SC:</strong> VARC ≥65, DI &amp; LR ≥60, QA ≥60, Overall ≥70</li>
<li><strong>ST:</strong> VARC ≥55, DI &amp; LR ≥55, QA ≥55, Overall ≥65</li>
<li><strong>PwD:</strong> VARC ≥45, DI &amp; LR ≥45, QA ≥45, Overall ≥55</li>
</ul>

<p>The final cutoff for admission is higher than the shortlisting cutoff. For the General category, the final cutoff is around 97-98 percentile. The final admission cutoff trend for different categories is:</p>

<ul>
<li><strong>2025 (for 2026-28 admission):</strong> General 97-98, EWS 90-91, OBC 92-93, SC 80-81, ST 68-69</li>
<li><strong>2024 (for 2025-27 admission):</strong> General 97, EWS 90.5, OBC 92.1, SC 80.9, ST 68.2</li>
</ul>

<p>The cutoffs vary with the candidate's profile. Aim for 97+ percentile in CAT overall if you are targeting a General category call at IIM Mumbai.</p>

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Students in the final year of the above degree can also apply subject to the following conditions:

Applicants should take the Common Admission Test (CAT-2024) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) to apply for the programs.

The gross fee applicable per student for two years programmes will be ₹ 21.00 Lakhs (inclusive of Tuition fee ₹14.00 Lakhs and Caution Money Deposit ₹50,000/-) The Caution Money Deposit will be refunded to the student on graduating from the Institute or it will be adjusted against the outstanding dues in respect of the student.

The Mess charges and Mess deposits will be paid by the students separately.

Full-time Engineering/Technology degree in any branch from a recognized university/institution with aggregate 50% marks (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates). OR Full-time degree from a recognized university with aggregate 50% marks (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in the following disciplines.
