IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) collaborates with Grant Thornton Bharat

A premier management institution with outstanding achievements for over 3 decades is collaborating with one of the Big 5 Consulting Firms, Grant Thornton Bharat to launch a truly Industry Integrated Career in Data Analytics & Consulting for BBA Students. The collaboration signifies a commitment to equipping students with cutting-edge skills, aligning education with industry needs, and enhancing employment opportunities for the youth of India.

This programme is focused on bridging the gap between the industry and academia through active participation of industry and corporate experts. As the institute prepares students for careers in the corporate world, similarly the industry looks forward to the academia equipping students with the requisite talent. This can only happen with the integration of expertise and knowledge of academia and industry.

The collaboration was announced at an event organized at the IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) Auditorium in the presence of CA (Dr) Rakesh Chharia, General Secretary of IMS Group of Institutions. The agreement was signed by Prof (Dr) Arun Kumar Singh, Director of IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus), and Pradeep Pandey, Director - Learning and Development at Grant Thornton India LLP. Prof (Dr) Pooja Rastogi, Head - School of Management, Mr. Kapil Arora, Director - Learning and Development at Grant Thornton, and Dr Vinay Kumar from Grant Thornton India were also present.

Grant Thornton Bharat is set to provide an advanced Business Analytics course as part of this collaboration. This meticulously designed program aims to empower students with the skills needed to excel in today's dynamic and technology-driven business landscape, offering comprehensive training in analytics and consulting. With this partnership, Grant Thornton Bharat will be involved in every aspect, starting with student selection and continuing through program development and employment placement.

In the area of management education, specifically, industry and academics cannot coexist in isolation from one another.
