Indian Institute of Public Health - [IIPH]

Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar is an independent public university in Gujarat. IIPH Gandhinagar was established in 2008, collectively by the Gujarat Government and Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). It is India’s first public health university, recognised by the UGC.

IIPH was granted university status in 2015. The IIRF rankings 2025 have ranked it as the 10th Best Public Health College. PG Diploma in Public Health Management is the oldest course offered at IIPH, Gandhinagar.

The flagship course is MPH. Total tuition fee for MPH is INR 5.72 lakhs. Eligibility requires graduation with at least 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized university.

The selection is based on the graduation merit and a screening test. Admissions are open for 2026. The highest package offered to date at IIPH Gandhinagar was INR 19.20 LPA, while the average package was INR 6 LPA.
