IIL Indore Admissions 2025
Admissions to the courses are conducted on the basis of the IILET, CLAT, or LSAT examinations. The admission criteria is both merit-based and entrance-based.

Admission Process at IIL Indore
Indore Institute of Law (IIL) selects undergraduate (UG) students on the basis of merit and postgraduate (PG) students through an entrance exam. A student's performance in 10+2 examinations, undergraduate study, and the entrance exam is considered during admissions.
For UG admissions, the institute considers the IILET exam conducted by the institute and other national exams like CLAT/LSAT. PG admissions are done on the basis of performance in undergraduate study. The final list of selected students is posted on the college website or the campus notice board.

IIL Indore Scholarship
Indore Institute of Law offers multiple scholarship options for students with good grades and reserved categories.
- IILET Scholarship: For undergraduate students who appeared for the IILET exam. Students with division 1 scores get a concession of INR 30,000 if they apply before the 15th, and INR 15,000 if they apply after the 15th.
- Meritorious Scholarship: Students securing 90.5% and above in 10+2 exams get a 20% tuition fee concession. Students scoring 85.5%-90% get a 15% concession.
- Sports Scholarship: Applicants who have represented the country in national and international sports events get a 10% fee concession.

What are the hostel timings?
The hostel serves both day scholars and night scholars with different entry and exit timings. Day scholars must enter by 8 pm, and night scholars can stay out until 9 am. An advance application must be given to the hostel in charge for being late beyond these times.
Is there a sports quota for admissions?
Yes, sports quota is available for students with national or international sports appearances. No seats are allocated, but a 10% fee concession is provided. Certificates of appreciation must be attached with admission documents.

Father of Library Science in India Dr. S.R. Ranganathan gave the Five Laws of Library Science a theory that he proposed in 1931 detailing the principles of operation of the library system. Many librarians around the world accept the law as the foundation of their philosophy.
The library considered the heart of the Indore Institute of Law (IIL), serves as a resource center and a perfect hub for efficient dissemination of knowledge. With a perfect ambiance to read in peace, our library within ambit consists of a seating area accommodating 110-120 readers, a Brainstorming & Green Zone, a Researcher’s Zone, a Circulation Section, a Reference Books Section, a Fictional Books Section, a Digital library Section containing the online database, Photocopy Section, etc., Viewed as the Learner’s Paradise, our library has a rich collection of 1118+ reference books including 24 National and International Journals, about 13405+ volumes containing abstracts, dictionaries, yearbooks, textbooks, constitutional debates, project & dissertations, Hindi-English literature, general books including autobiographies, special reports, manuscripts, rare books, and tabloids.
The library as a learning platform contains a rich collection of Textbooks, references, General books, Manuscripts, Special Books and Special Reports, 24 International and National Journals, Online Databases (MANUPATRA, SCC ONLINE, HEIN Online AIR Online, and N-LIST), etc. to cater the needs of our undergraduate and postgraduate students. The library subscribes to 11 National and Local newspapers. The library is networked with online legal databases and N-LIST-INFLIBNET. A combination of Barcode barcode-printed ID and a Library card is issued to each student to avail of the reading materials.
The Committee has been set up for making policies regarding the purchase of new books, journals magazines, and other reading materials. The main responsibility of the committee is to review the existing rules & regulations about the use of the library, policy regarding the purchase of books/ periodicals and hardware/software, and write-ups/ books policy, etc. It deliberates on issues concerning proper and optimum utilization of facilities available at the library and plans for future growth of the Library.
The Library Advisory Committee is constituted to enrich the library so that Faculty and Students can get the best and updated knowledge of the law as well as for research work. The Composition of the Library Committee is as follows-
