The Engineering Physics lab in Indore Institute of Science and Technology is well-equipped fulfilling the norms of AICTE. The main objective of the course is to develop students’ communication skills and send them for campus placement or recruitment. It would help not only for the rural and regional medium background students but also English medium students to improve their communication skills, focused on reading and writing skills.

The main objective of the lab is to prepare the students for campus recruitment. The lab makes the students to habit of listening and speaking. It acts as a platform for learning, practicing, and producing language skills through interactive lessons and communicative mode of teaching. Language laboratories are for drills and for listening comprehension. It is also used for consolidating the learning.

To develop the overall personality of the students by the practical activities related to the development of speaking, writing, reading, listening and presentation skills. Effective communication skills objectives for students touch on everything from facial expressions to visual literacy, from anxiety management to verbal skills, from body language to document presentation. Students can become more effective communicators by cultivating competency in these core communication areas and related literacies. All these activities help in confidence building, motivation to be more presentable and help in removing the stage fright.

Language lab helps learners to develop good listening skills. Learners hear the correct language patterns all the time through their headsets. The students might be attentive towards the sounds in the lab more careful than the theory classes. The use of Language learning system encourages learner to talk freely and lose their shyness when talking in front of the people.

Chemistry is an interdisciplinary science related to all fields of Science and Technology. Engineering Chemistry is a subject included for First year students as per RGPV curriculum. It deals with the fundamental concepts of Industrial and applied chemistry. Chemistry lab aims at providing the hands on concept about materials used in technical purpose and to nurture the engineering students at entry level to meet their future target according to graduate attributes.
