The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) is a non-profit educational society under the aegis of the Indian Council of Social Science Research, MHRD, Govt. of India and is engaged in Research, Consultancy, Training, and Education in the field of Management since 1964. The campus of IPE at Shamirpet has State-of-the-art classrooms equipped with the latest Audio-Visual, computing, and real-time data streaming facilities that provide an exciting and enriching experience to the students. The unique strength of IPE is its Board of Governors (BoG), comprising of renowned administrators, brilliant scientists, and financial wizards. The Institute built a diverse portfolio of long-term programmes as per the industry requirements and introduced two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management in 1995, Retail and Marketing (PGDM-RM) in 2007, now the Programme is renamed as Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Marketing Management (PGDM-MM) in 2017, Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Banking and Financial Services (PGDMBIF) in 2008, Post Graduate Diploma in Management – International Business (PGDM-IB) in 2009, Executive PGDM in 2009 and Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Human Resource Management (PGDM-HRM) in 2012, all recognized by AICTE. Institute offers dual specializations to the students in six contemporary areas namely, Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Operations, Business Analytics & Systems. The classroom echoes the energetic signals with diverse students from all parts of the country, handpicked through a systematic admissions process from diverse composition. Institute attracts students from various streams of graduation wherein majority are from engineering & commerce background of which around 20% of the students have previous work experience.
