A Faculty Knowledge Circle session on “Free Trade Agreements: Connecting Economies, Creating Opportunities” was conducted by Dr. Nupur Rao on 22 June 2026. The session provided valuable insights into the role of FTAs in promoting global trade, economic integration, and business opportunities. Through engaging discussions and an interactive trade negotiation simulation, faculty members explored the opportunities, challenges, and strategic implications of international trade agreements. The session was highly informative and encouraged meaningful dialogue on contemporary global trade dynamics.

JIMS Kalkaji successfully hosted a Faculty Knowledge Circle session on “Understanding the Consumer Brain Through Neuromarketing” by Ms. Roli Wadhwa on 19th June 2026. The session explored how neuroscience is transforming marketing by uncovering the subconscious drivers of consumer behavior. Faculty members gained insights into concepts such as Dual-System Thinking and neuromarketing tools, including EEG, fMRI, Eye Tracking, and GSR. Real-world examples from leading brands highlighted how organizations leverage these insights to create impactful customer experiences and effective marketing strategies. The interactive discussion also addressed the ethical dimensions of neuromarketing and its growing relevance in marketing education and research.

On 8th May 2026, Dr. Palak Verma conducted the Faculty Knowledge Circle session on “The Happiness Advantage in Educational Institutions”, focusing on the importance of organizational happiness in enhancing faculty well-being, engagement, collaboration, and institutional effectiveness. The session explained key frameworks from positive psychology and organizational behavior, including the PERMA Model, PERMA-V Model, and PERMA+4 Framework, highlighting dimensions like positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, accomplishment, vitality, mindset, work environment, and economic security. Practical strategies such as gratitude initiatives, peer mentoring, recognition and reward systems, wellness programs, mindfulness activities, autonomy in work design, and psychological capital development were discussed, along with best practices from Netflix, Google LLC, and Zappos.com, Inc. Interactive discussions addressed challenges related to faculty well-being, psychological safety, emotional culture, and the role of technology and emotional intelligence, concluding with reflections on how institutions flourish when educators flourish.

On 5th May 2026, Jagannath International Management School (JIMS), Kalkaji organized a Faculty Knowledge Circle session on “A Sacred Journey of Faith: Spiritual Tourism and Its Impact on Indian Economy”, conducted by Dr. Shiran Khan. The session focused on how the pilgrimage contributes to various sectors of the Indian economy. Dr. Khan provided an insightful analysis of how religious pilgrimages drive the travel and hospitality sectors, generate significant employment, and shape government policy frameworks. Beyond the economic impact, the session offered fascinating corporate takeaways, drawing parallels between large-scale pilgrimage logistics and modern organizational practices like crowd management, time discipline, and resource optimization. The event wrapped up with an engaging Q&A, insightful discussions among the faculty on blending spiritual journeys with strategic management!

A Corporate Financial Awareness Session on Retirement and Holistic Financial Planning was held on 20th March 2026 for faculty members at JIMS Kalkaji, in collaboration with Bajaj Capital. Led by Mr. Dhirender Rawat and Ms. Simran Patial, a distinguished alumna of JIMS, the session focused on the importance of early financial planning, retirement instruments, tax-efficient investments, and goal-based financial strategies. The session included an engaging Q&A, providing practical insights and real-life examples to help faculty members make informed financial decisions for long-term security.

On 17th March 2026, Jagannath International Management School (JIMS), Kalkaji organized a Faculty Knowledge Circle session on “Professional Success through Emotional Intelligence,” conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Harvinder Soni. The session focused on the increasing relevance of emotional intelligence (EI) in shaping professional effectiveness, leadership capabilities, and classroom engagement. Drawing insights from global research, including the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report, it was highlighted that while analytical thinking remains a core skill, several emotional intelligence skills (i.e., motivation, self-awareness, empathy, and active listening) rank among the top 10 highly desirable competencies required by the employers today. The session also provided practical strategies for managing emotions, building meaningful relationships, and fostering a positive academic environment.

JIMS Kalkaji faculty knowledge session by Dr. Divya Alok, held on 16th March 2026 highlighted an engaging approach to management education through global narratives. The session traced the geopolitical journey of Israel and Iran—from early cooperation to present-day hostility—focusing on key turning points like leadership shifts, ideological changes, and evolving strategic interests. The discussion drew parallels with organizational strategy, leadership influence, and alliance management, showing how global events can serve as powerful teaching tools.An enriching session that reinforced the value of storytelling in making complex ideas meaningful and relatable in management education.

Jagannath International Management School (JIMS), Kalkaji organized a three-day Faculty Development Programme on “Advanced Data Analysis using SmartPLS and AI-Driven Research Applications” from 9th–11th December 2025, led by Dr. Ajay Kumar Chauhan, Professor of Practice (Analytics), BIM Trichy, and Founder of 6thQResearchH LLP (ResearchShiksha). The FDP strengthened faculty research skills through SmartPLS-based PLS-SEM training, behavioural theories such as TPB, TRA, UTAUT, and the S–O–R model, and hands-on AI-driven tools including ChatGPT, AILYZE, Paperpal, Trinka, Research Rabbit, Connected Papers, Scopus, Web of Science, Perplexity AI, Elicit, Jasper, Brand24, and Microsoft Copilot. Sessions covered measurement and structural models, hypothesis testing, research gap identification, high-quality paper writing, mediation analysis, and qualitative analysis using AI. The programme concluded with participants appreciating the practical insights and enhanced confidence in applying SmartPLS and AI tools for advanced research.
