JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) has 6 faculties, each housing a number of subject areas, research programs and study options. The faculties support and promote excellence by focusing on student experience, quality teaching and the right balance of theoretical and practical knowledge.

We offer unique graduate, postgraduate, and specialized programs in almost all the major branches of engineering and technology. The faculty with its outstanding teaching and research facilities coupled with its practical and forward thinking programs is focused on developing the skills and knowledge of the students thereby allowing a smooth transition into the portals of industry.

The Faculty of Sciences offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses in a dynamic student-centered learning environment. School of Sciences has also oriented its research in areas that include bioinformatics, cancer biology, biofuels, industrial, agricultural and environmental microbiology, mycology, enzymology, bioplastics, biomedical physics, plant metabolomics, theoretical atomic photoionization and electronic band structure of novel materials, micro/nano electronics, electro ceramics, toxinology, phytochemistry, industrial biotechnology etc. It has established collaborative research programs with various national and international institutions and industries of repute.

Centre for Nano and Material Sciences (CNMS), a dedicated chemistry research center at JAIN (Deemed-to be University), focusing on Catalysis, Electrochemistry, Neurochemistry, and Energy Materials.

The approach to pedagogy at the Faculty of Management combines fieldwork, case studies and instrumented feedback with a strong emphasis on concepts and theory. The focus is on management programs and thought leadership with a deep understanding of business. The intent is to encourage intellectual curiosity and open minds to the adventure of ideas.

The faculty offers a wide range of industry related undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs that have been designed to prepare students for managerial and specialist roles within the business and the public sector. Utilizing its established industry links, the Faculty of Commerce has been developing innovative new courses that are designed to develop the advanced skills and knowledge required for today's business world.
