The Placement cell in the college was established in the year 2002 and since then the cell has helped Thousands of students in getting jobs. The cell primarily has three objectives viz. placement, training, and counseling. The college Placement Cell is registered with more than 185 companies all over India. The academic excellence at KLE’s S.Nijalingappa College is reflected in its student’s exemplary record in placements in the corporate sectors. The department of Training & Placement is the backbone of any institute. It has consistently maintained an excellent recruitment record. The graduates of KLE’s S.Nijalingappa College have been recruited by some of the leading Indian companies.

Scope and Need of Placement CellThe aim of the Placement cell are to bring the student and industrial community together to a mutually desirable employment relationship and to provide necessary guidance and information to the students in shaping their future career and keeps up to date with employment trends and options to ensure quality advice to students. The cell is headed by a Placement Officer. For placements the cell undertakes various activities like arranging campus interviews, communicating with enterprisers for job openings, organizing placement lectures, and arranging referral interviews for students. The cell has the entire database of the STUDENT’s PROFILE of the current year as well as the alumnae.

There are numerous practice group discussions held so that the students get to know the essential talents and criteria for successfully getting past the group discussions. Workshops are arranged in the areas of corporate interviews. This helps students to be gallant in all the minute details to come out in flying colors in any campus drive. Apart from this, each individual’s strengths and weaknesses are identified and they are counseled to encourage their strengths and overcome their weakness. A lot of dedication is offered from the Placement cell to tap out the immense potential in all students.
