<p>Maitreyi College provides both need-based and merit-based scholarships and fee concessions to support students from economically weaker sections and to recognise academic excellence.</p>

<p><strong>Freeship under UGC Guidelines</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Full waiver of tuition and admission fees.</li>
<li>For students whose parental income is less than or equal to INR 8 lakh per year.</li>
<li>Open to all categories (General/SC/ST/OBC).</li>
<li>Applications are usually invited in September.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Fee Concession</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Up to 20% waiver on tuition fees.</li>
<li>For deserving and meritorious students.</li>
<li>Applicants must apply before the deadline, typically August 31 each year.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>SC/ST Tuition Fee &amp; Admission Fee Exemption</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>100% exemption from tuition and admission fees.</li>
<li>Applicable to SC/ST students whose parental income is below the taxable limit.</li>
<li>Income and caste certificates must be submitted during admission.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>DU Merit Scholarship</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>INR 250 per month for three years.</li>
<li>For selected BA (Hons) and B.Sc (Hons) students.</li>
<li>Awarded by the University of Delhi based on academic merit.</li>
<li>Applications open in October.</li>
