Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), popularly known as Pusa Institute, is India's premier national Institute for agricultural research, education, and extension. The Institute is situated in Delhi, established in 1905, and is financed and administered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). IARI has the status of a ‘Deemed-to-be-University’ under the UGC Act of 1956. The institute has been ranked 1st for agriculture by NIRF 2024. IARI offers M.Sc., M.Tech., & Ph.D. degrees in 26 different disciplines to the aspirants. IARI offers MSc as its flagship program.
