Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences also known as UPUMS, is a state medical university established in 2016. The university is affiliated with Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. It is approved by the MCI, DCI, and PCI. UPUMS is recognized by the UGC and accredited by NAAC, IQAC, and NABL. According to the NIRF 2024 reports, the university ranks in the 101-125 band under the ‘Pharmacy’ category, and MyKollege ranks the university at 192 under the Medical category for the year 2025. The university offers admission to UG, PG, and PhD programs in the field of Medical, Dental, Paramedical Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmacy. UPUMS offers admission to the MBBS as its flagship program. UPUMS MBBS total tuition fee is INR 81K. To be eligible for admission, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with the PCB stream with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board.
