NIFT Srinagar is a government institute for fashion education established in the year 2016. It was established under the Ministry of Textiles. As per the MyKollege ranking, it was ranked 101 in Design out of 109 colleges in India in 2025.
It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a wide range of subjects related to fashion. B.Des is offered as a popular program at NIFT Srinagar. For admission to the B.Des program, candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% from a recognised board along with NIFTEE exam.
