There are 8 semester for 4 year of course, there is one semester is for intern that is 6th semester now it is 8th semester which can be for intern + FTE placements. How are the hostels at NIT Kurukshetra?

There are 10 hostels for boys and 3 to 4 hostel for girls, for boys in first year it is tripple seater and from second year onwards it's single seater. all hostels have LAN and wifi connectivity. Hostel food is okayies. No night canteen in hostel.

About the Institution

National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, also known as NIT Kurukshetra or NIT KKR, established in 1963. NIT KKR is one of the 31 NITs in India and is managed by the Government of India. NIRF 2024 ranked 81 out of 300 B.Tech colleges in India and IIRF 2024 ranked 56 out of 160 B.Tech colleges in India.

The institute offers admission to PG, UG and Phd programs as part of the curriculum. NIT Kurukshetra offers B.Tech. as its flagship program and the total B.Tech 2025 fee is INR 7.36 lakhs.To get admission in NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech, candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 75% marks in PCM from a recognized board. NIT KKR also offers admission to the MBA program and MBA 2025 fee is INR 1.32 Lakhs for the first year.

NIT Kurukshetra Placement 2025 report is currently unavailable. However as per the placement 2024 report, 837 students were placed out of which 247 were from PG and 590 were from UG.
