<p>The library is a 50,000 sq ft, 4-storey, air-conditioned building. It holds over 20,000 books, digital resources, and e-databases. The library offers Wi-Fi, RFID access, scanners, and kiosks.</p>
<p>Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls, with 150 or more rooms. Hostel facilities include dining rooms, reading rooms, gyms, internet, and 24-hour security and utilities.</p>
<p>The campus has an ICT-equipped full-scale Moot Court Hall and a Judges' Lounge. Recreational facilities include indoor and outdoor sports, medical services, and counseling. Facilities are designed to include differently-abled students.</p>
The independent NLUJAA Library building is located centrally in the heart of the NLUJAA Campus, Amingaon. The state of the art library building is a four storied (Ground plus three) magnificent building spreading across a wide area of 50,000 sq. ft. approx. NLUJA, Assam Library is a fully air conditioned, CCTV and Wi-Fi enabled building which is accoutred with RFID system for smooth functioning of its services. The library has an exclusive digital library section housed in the second floor of the building, allowing its users to access high quality resources of the library. The library has approximately twenty thousand print collections housed in different sections, namely, Law textbook section, Social Science section, Reference Section and Back Volume Section located in the ground floor, first floor and third floor respectively of the library building, along with sufficient reading space. The library is rich in terms of hardware infrastructure and owns BookEye 4 Scanner, SureBind Systems 2 Strip Binders, Kindle Paperwhite, Self-Issue Return Kiosk, Self-Book Drop Unit, OPAC Kiosk in each floor, and such other modern amenities.
Back Ground National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam Library is a gateway to quality education and research in the field of law, social sciences and humanities. The NLUJAA Library endeavors to facilitate the legal society by providing right information to right users at the right time. The University library has approximately twenty thousand print collection in the field of law and allied subjects. Over the years, the library has procured various Law Journals, both print and electronic. On the top floor of the Adminstrative building the Library is housed as a temporary measure and will be shifted to an independent customised building under construction soon after its completion. The state of the art library building will be housed in a three magnificent storied building spreading across a wide area of 50,000 sq.ft approx.
The NLUJAA Library’s mission is to support legal teaching learning and research of the university community by providing comprehensive resources and services in the subject of Law. To fulfill this mission, the library commits to act as a knowledge hub for legal studies and legal education.

The University Library has been subscribing DELNET Online, Heinonline, Jstor, LexisNexis, Manupatra, SCC Online and Westlaw database for last five years. NLUJAA Library has two electronic Book packages namely Elgar online and Cambridge Book online. South Asia Archive and Canadian Business & Current Affairs (CBCA) are the new additions of electronic databases to the Library.
