<p>For admission to NUALS Kochi, the cut-off is based on your rank in the CLAT exam. The closing rank is the last rank that got admission in a particular round.</p>

<p>For the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) course in 2026, the Round 1 closing rank for the General category was:</p>

<li><strong>All India (AI) quota:</strong> 1076</li>
</ul>

<p>For the L.L.M. courses in 2026, the Round 1 closing rank for the General category was:</p>

<ul>
<li><strong>Home State (HS) quota:</strong> 1367</li>
<li><strong>All India (AI) quota:</strong> 1131</li>
</ul>

<p>The L.L.M. courses with this cut-off include Constitutional Law and Administrative Law, International Trade Law, and Executive.</p>

<p>If your rank is slightly above the closing cut-off, you may still get a seat in later counselling rounds. This can happen if other candidates withdraw or seats become vacant.</p>

<p>The Home State quota generally has a higher closing rank than the All India quota. This is because a certain percentage of seats are reserved for Kerala domicile candidates, which means less competition within that state pool.</p>
