Training and Placement Cell: The Training and Placement Cell at PUSSGRC, Hoshiarpur, is dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and industry, ensuring a seamless transition for our students into the professional world. Our mission is to nurture, guide, and inspire the next generation of professionals. We are committed to providing strategic planning, fostering creative partnerships, and delivering comprehensive training services to help students achieve their goals and make meaningful contributions to society. Our faculty members from various engineering branches and the MCA department work tirelessly to empower students, supported by a student committee selected through personal interviews conducted by the faculty. To enhance students' employability, this committee organizes a variety of workshops, seminars, and expert talks. The committee works closely with the Central Placement Cell at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Our students have been successfully placed in renowned companies such as Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Quark, SML ISUZU, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ambuja Cement, Honda, Wipro, ITC, Infogain, L&T Infotech, and HP. Additionally, many of our students are employed in various public sector undertakings, state services, and the armed forces. Every year, several students also pursue higher studies both in India and abroad. Past Recruiters Modus operandi of Training and Placement Cell: Preparations: Training sessions on resume writing, interview techniques, and aptitude tests. Opportunity Identification: Collaborating with companies to find suitable job openings. Announcements and Applications: Sharing opportunities with students and facilitating applications. Shortlisting: Reviewing and shortlisting candidates based on various criteria. Interviews: Conducting technical and HR interviews. Selection: Providing conducive environment and nest of engineers to the Companies for selecting candidates for employment. Offer and Acceptance: Extending job offers and managing acceptance. Final Placement: Assisting with the transition to employment. TPC Events Aptitude Tests: Regular tests to enhance skills and build confidence. GD Rounds: Group discussions to develop speaking skills and confidence. Coding Rounds: Competitions to test and improve coding skills.
