About this Scholarship
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) offers scholarships to Indian students through two schemes: PRAGATI for girls and for differently abled students.
The PRAGATI scheme provides 4000 scholarships per annum to girls who meet the eligibility criteria, including a family income of less than Rs. 6 lakhs per annum and admission to AICTE-approved institutions.
The scholarship amount is Rs. 30,000 or tuition fees at actual, whichever is less, and Rs. 2,000 per month for ten months as contingency allowance.
The scheme for differently abled students offers 1000 scholarships per annum to students who meet the eligibility criteria, including a family income of less than Rs. 6 lakhs per annum and admission to AICTE-approved institutions.
The scholarship amount is Rs. 30,000 or tuition fees at actual, whichever is less, and Rs. 2,000 per month for ten months as contingency allowance.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the AICTE scholarships, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be admitted to AICTE-approved institutions for Diploma and Undergraduate Degree Level programs.
- Have a family income of less than Rs. 6 lakhs per annum.
- Be admitted in the first year of the academic year 2014-15.
How to Apply
