About this Scholarship

The University of Adelaide offers Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships to international graduates to commence a Masters or Doctorate degree by research.

Awards are prioritised for research in areas of University research strength.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be international students acceptable to commence a Masters or Doctorate by research degree at the University of Adelaide.
  • Successful recipients must apply and enrol as ‘international students’ to retain the scholarship.
  • Applicants with a qualification in progress are not eligible until it is completed and evidence is provided.
  • Applicants must meet the University of Adelaide’s English language proficiency requirements.
  • Applicants must have completed at least an Australian Honours degree.
  • Successful recipients must commence study in the semester the scholarship is offered.
  • International applicants are not eligible if they have already commenced their research degree.
