About this Scholarship
B.L.D.E. University invites applications for the All India Under Graduate Medical Entrance Test – 2012 (BLDEU-UGET-2012) for admission to Shri B.M. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Bijapur, the constituent college.
Admission will be made in accordance with the admission policy of B.L.D.E. University, framed as per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The examination will be conducted at various centers across the country, including BUAPUR, Hubli, Bangalore, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Indore, Ranchi, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Trivandrum.
The last date to download the application is 05-05-2012, and the last date to receive the applications is 11-05-2012. The entrance test is scheduled to be held on 20-05-2012.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MBBS course, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of India.
- Have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2012.
- Have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
- Have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and 40% marks in English.

<li>Ensure that the application form and supporting documents reach the university by the last date of receipt, i.e., 11-05-2012.</li>
