About this Scholarship
Banaras Hindu University, established by Parliament by Notification No. 225 of 1916, is a renowned institution for medical education. The Institute of Medical Sciences, located in Varanasi, is a premier center for postgraduate medical education.
An entrance test on an all-India basis will be held on 21st February 2010 at Varanasi for admission to MD/MS courses for the year 2010. The subjects and category-wise distribution of seats will be notified later on the BHU and IMS websites.
Eligible candidates must have completed their MBBS (MCI recognized) with one year rotating internship by 30.04.2010. Candidates who have passed MD/MS in any subject are not eligible for admission.

<li>Obtain the application form from the office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, B.H.U. Varanasi-221005 by sending a self-addressed unstamped envelope (24x30cm) and a DD (MICH only) of Rs. 100.00 drawn in favor of “Director, IMS, BHU”, payable at Varanasi</li>
<li>Fill the application form (all four pages) including 3 photographs and the applicable application fee</li>
<li>Submit the completed application form on or before 09.01.2010 to the office of the undersigned</li>
