Programme For Academic Year 2014-15 Biria Institute Of Technology and Science Pilani Admissions to B.Pharmacy For Academic Year 2014-2015 UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS TO B.PHARMACY Eligibility Applications are invited for Admission to B. Pharmacy Programme at Pilani and Hyderabad Campuses from bright students of 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects. ABOUT THE PROGRAM The Department of Pharmacy of BITS Pilani, established in 1950, is one of the few early schools of Pharmacy in India. B. Pharm. program is offered at Pilani and Hyderabad Campuses of BITS Pilani. Alumni of Pharmacy Department, BITS Pilani are well placed in India as well as abroad in various pharmaceutical companies, government organizations like drug control, research laboratories, etc., and in several well known academic institutions. The programme is an amalgamation of foundation skills, pharmacy essentials, research, management and is highly flexible with an opportunity for electives, projects, vertical transfer to M. Pharmacy, etc. It allows students to specialize in research, clinical pharmacy and entrepreneurship. Input Qualification: 12,h class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12,h. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects in 12,h class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English. Admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT-2014.
