Central Institute Of Educational Technology (CIET) is a constituent unit of NCERT, established in 1984 through the merger of Center for Educational Technology and Department of Teaching Aids.
CIET is a premier national institute of educational technology, aiming to promote the utilization of educational technologies such as radio, TV, films, satellite communications, and cyber media.
The institute's main objectives include widening educational opportunities, promoting equity, and improving the quality of educational processes at the school level.
