About this Scholarship
Department of Biotechnology,Call for Research Proposals in Medical Mycology Department of Biotechnology , Ministry of Science & Technology Call for Research Proposals in Medical Mycology ResearcFT~proposals are invited from investigators/scientists activel; engaged in the field of Medical Mycology preferably in the form of multicentre consortium. The invasive fungal strains and infections prevalent in Indi; include (a) Candida tropicaiis and other Candida spp. that cause bloo< stream infections, (b) Aspergillus flavus and other Aspergillus spp. involvet in fungal rhinosinusitis, ABPA and endophthalmitis, (c) Zygomycetes an( (d) Cryptococcus neoformans. The major thrust areas are: Molecular Epidemiology Pathogenesis and mechanism of fungal disease Diagnostics for invasive fungal infections Drug development Interested scientists can submit their proposals as per details given on Department’s website www.dbtindia.njcjn by 30m January 2012.
