Entrance Examintation For Hotel Management Course The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Ministry of Tourism Entrance Examintation For Hotel Management Course The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Ministry of Tourism, has invited applications for the three-year B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration programme offered at Institutes of Hotel Management spread across the country for the academic year 2011. The entrance examination will be held in 33 centres on April 16. The programme equips students with the skills, knowledge and attitude needed to discharge supervisory responsib- ilities in the hospitality sector. “About 80 per cent of students who completed this course are employed by the hospitality and other service sectors through on-campus and off-campus recruitment processes,” a release said. Eligibility The minimum qualification to apply is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subjects. Upper age limit for the candidates is 22 years for those belonging to general and other backward classes, and 25 for those belonging to SC/ST categories.
