Focussed Preparation Of Minority Students At Classes 11 and 12th with science Physics Chemistry Biology and Mathematics Ministry Of Minority Affairs Website : www.minorityaffairs.gov.in Focussed Preparation Of Minority Students At Classes 11 and 12th with science Physics Chemistry Biology and Mathematics The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India during the year 2013-14 has launched the above cited new component under the scheme of ‘Free Coaching & Allied Scheme for the candidates belonging to minority communities’ (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) on pilot basis for about 900 students @ 100 or more students per centre in 9 StatesAJTs, viz UP, Bihar, Assam, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Kamataka, Tamilnadu, Punjab and Delhi. The programme would be residential coaching/ training ‘for focused preparation for Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering alongwith classes for class XI and XII with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, Chemistry, Biology combination under CBSE pattern. Under the scheme the rate of financial support for the above mentioned focused preparation will be upto Rs. One lakh per annum per student. More details of the scheme may be seen on the website of this Ministry, i.e. www.minorityaffairs.gov.in Applications are invited from Institutions/Schools/Colleges having good faculty with Science streams as above, and adequate space with separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The institute should essentially be locataed in a place which has a University. One institute from the above quoted States/UT will be selected if it applies and found eligible.
