INDIAN AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE ADMISSION TO Ph.D. PROGRAMMES 2013-14 INDIAN AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE ADMISSION TO Ph.D. PROGRAMMES (2013-14) INDIAN AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE, NEW DELHI-110 012 (Deemed University under Sec.3 of UGC Act, 1956) An ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institute Applications in the prescribed forms are invited for admission to Ph.D. programmes in the various disciplines of Agricultural Sciences. Eligibility: Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks OR an overall grade point average (OGPA) of 7.50 out of 10.00 OR 3.75 out of 5.00 OR 3.00 out of 4.00 OR 2.25 out of 3.00 (For SC/ST/PC candidates: 55% marks OR OGPA of 7.00 out of .10.00 OR 3.50 out of 5.00 OR 2.80 out of 4.00 OR 2.10 out of 3.00) in Masters Degree Programme. The percentage of marks shall be considered only for candidates coming from universities that do not award grades. The candidates who have appeared in the Master’s degree examination in the year 2013 are also eligible to apply provisionally for admission. For full details, please refer to the information bulletin containing the application form which can be obtained during March 4, 2013 to April 3, 2013. On Cash Payment: From Syndicate Bank, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012 on payment of Rs.1000/- in cash for General/OBC Category and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PC category (+Rs.25/- as bank handling/service charges). The downloaded application may be submitted complete in all respects along with the Bank Challan available at IARI website to be deposited in any branch of Syndicate Bank in favour of Director, IARI, New Delhi or a Demand Draft in favour of Director, IARI payable at New Delhi for Rs.1000/- for General/OBC and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PC Category.
