Both the programmes have already been approved by the Govt. of Orissa and affiliated to Utkal University. MA/ M. Sc in Computational Finance: Objective: This is first of its kind in India. The main objective of this high-end two year full time programme is to provide students with the practical suits and theoretical understanding and evaluations of the tools and models used by the ever changing and increasingly complex financial service sectors. Placement: Highly reputed firms have already made offers to our final year students. Eligibility: Candidates must have Passed/ Appeared Bachelor?s Degree with Mathematics/ Statistics as a core subject. B. Sc (Hons) in Mathematics and Computing: Objective: This is a 3 ear full time rigorous course aimed at those who wish to pursue a career in cutting-edge research in mathematical sciences and related fields, also provides enough scope for a career in information technology in the industry. There are a limited number of scholarships. The Institute has an arrangement with the University of Western Ontario, Canada under which our B. Sc students shall visit Canada. Eligibility: Candidates must have passed/ appeared Higher Secondary Examination or Equivalent from any discipline with Mathematics as a subject.
